June/July 2025 Newsletter (R2R, S2N, TCM)

June 7th A2 Physical Therapy & Athletics was well-represented at the Rainier to Ruston Relay, an epic run starting in Carbonado and finishing along the beautiful Ruston Way. This event is a favorite for many in our community — and our staff are no exception!

Ben, a seasoned runner and long-time Rainier to Ruston participant, has run the race since its inception. Rain or shine (or snow!), you’ll often spot him running through Tacoma or Gig Harbor during his lunch breaks. This year, he and his brother crushed the course as a two-person team, finishing first — an incredible accomplishment that reflects both grit and experience. If you’re looking for a physical therapist who truly understands the runner’s body, Ben is your guy!

Ryanne and Jenilee joined forces with fellow A2 Athletics gym members on a six-person team — a crew that’s made this race a fun annual tradition. Ryanne in particular has been crushing running goals lately — she completed her first full marathon last month at the Tacoma City Marathon! We’re so proud of her dedication and drive. Both she and Jenilee continue to lead by example, always chasing movement and wellness and truly practicing what they preach in both the clinic and the Athletics gym.

We’re proud of our team for embracing the challenge, supporting each other, and representing A2 with heart, hustle, and a whole lot of miles.

"I am impressed with the personnel that worked with me during this process for my back. Danny, Shelby, & Jackie are very knowledgeable, and available for all of the questions I brought up. I appreciated the constant evaluation of my progress during the six week process. I truly enjoyed their company as well. It isn't like going to a normal doctor's office. It was a very personal experience. Best yest is that the therapy worked very well. I am very pleased with the results. My pain is almost non-existent. Thank you very much."

"Kristi’s weekly bootcamp has truly gotten me out of my comfort zone. I started attending with my family a few months ago. My first couple of times I was so ore! At times I became discouraged, but I just pushed through! I keep coming every week I am available. There’s no shaming if you must miss a week. You can even have someone go on your behalf if you miss a week. Since starting Kristi’s bootcamp I’ve said yes to other fitness opportunities I would have previously turned down. I now workout EVERYDAY and I’ve lost over 20 lbs since I first started coming. Thanks Kristi and to my family for introducing mw to this awesome bootcamp!"

"I loved it here! Everyone was so kind and welcoming and it is a very comfortable space to be in. That made it 100X easier to work on things, and ask plenty of questions. I seriously can’t think of anything to improve upon! Everything worked and helped me feel better, and is so exciting! Because of this, I can do more, and spend less time hurting."
