Katie Eltrich, PTA

Katie completed her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Whatcom Community College in December 2020 after achieving her Bachelorís degree from Antioch University Seattle in 2014. She has been working as a PTA since January 2021 with her focus being on orthopedics and sports based medicine. Using a mix of exercise and manual therapy, combined with education on injuries and the healing process, Katie is passionate about helping her patients get back to the sports, activities, or hobbies they love the most with less pain, better understanding of their body, and a set of tools to use in the future.

Born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, Katie recently moved back after spending most of her time learning and living in Bellingham and Seattle. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at home with her kitties, watching shows with her husband, and working in her garden. Katie is an artist at heart with her favorite mediums being pottery, painting, knitting, and crochet, as well as all types of arts and crafts. When the weather permits, she enjoys spending time outdoors going camping, hiking, paddle boarding, or taking a nice walk along the beach.

"Everyone at A2 is fantastic. Had a great experience from the 1st phone call. Don't change, you guys are awesome!"

"It was very helpful to be taught exercises I could do at home to alleviate the pain in my back and to make my stomach/diaphragm stronger. It was a great experience and I took away a lot of knowledge to help myself."

"I had a lot of fear after surgery, afraid that I would not regain mobility and strength. I feel that A2 helped me achieve a higher plateau of health, motion, and strength than I would’ve achieved elsewhere. Also, A2 has taught me the exercises to go even further, to strengthen and mobilize my shoulder. I fully trust A2 and will recommend them to all my friends, family, and coworkers. They have all treated both me and my wife with a gentle kindness that is rare today and have made us feel welcome in their care. Very professional, but with a sense of caring; that is how I would describe A2. I will miss them all and am very grateful to have been in their hands."
